The Differences Between Jaw Crusher , Impact Crusher & Hammer Crusher

Posted: 2018-07-06

There are essential differences in the performance characteristics and working principles of these three crushers(jaw crusher, impact crusher and hammer crusher).

The hammer crusher is suitable for crushing minerals of various brittle materials. It has the characteristics of simple structure, large crushing ratio and high production efficiency, and can be broken in both dry and wet forms;

The medium-sized large jaw crusher is mainly used for medium-sized crushing of various ores and bulk materials, and can crush materials with compressive strength of not more than 320Mpa, which are divided into coarse and fine broken. The feed size is from 125mm to 750mm, which is the preferred equipment for primary crushing. The jaw crusher (E-break) is widely used in mining, metallurgy, building materials, roads, railways, water conservancy and chemical industries;

The series of impact crushers (counter-breaking) can handle particle sizes up to 500 mm. Various materials with a compressive strength not exceeding 360 MPa. It is a crushing machine that uses impact energy to break up materials. Its unique structural design makes the finished product into a cube, without tension and cracks, and the grain shape is quite good. The impact crusher has the characteristics of large crushing ratio, high crushing efficiency and convenient maintenance. It is widely used in highway construction, water conservancy engineering and gravel processing for construction with excellent performance and good performance.

Therefore, if you use limestone in the desulfurization system, it is recommended to use hammer crusher and impact cursher, so that the particle size can reach 3mm or less. If it is used in the aggregate 10-50mm, it will be crushed with a jaw crusher or a tooth roller crusher(Double roller crusher). Sand making can use a impact crusher. The choice of machine depends on the size of the finished product, and the model is divided by capacity.
